It’s possible your dog despises you and doesn’t let you know it. Dogs and humans react to frustration in very different ways. 1. Getting in a Dog’s Face and Personal Space

A dog’s dislike humans getting close to their face is similar to their dislike of being hugged. What do you think it would do to your emotions? Keep your hands off of a dog’s face, don’t tower over them, and don’t hurry up to them. If the dog doesn’t know you very well, this is crucial.

You should take your time, be gentle, and give your dog with goodies and/or praise whenever you need to prod and poke him for his own good (such as ear cleaning or dental brushing). You should back off if your dog makes appeasing gestures, shows fear, or acts aggressively. Always use caution to avoid getting bitten by a dog.
