Programming Languages are a set of Computer languages used by programmers in Computer programming to implement an algorithm. They are used to develop a set of instructions, software, and scripts.

TYPES OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES

The Computer has over 100 Programming languages shared through different types and they are as follows:

High Level / Low-Level Language
General Purpose / Domain-Specific
Command / Compiled / Script Language
Object-Oriented
Answer Set
Procedural / Imperative / Declarative

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES USED BY DATA SCIENTISTS

Javascript: Javascript is a general-purpose programming language that enhances web application performance by reducing code length. It is one of the fastest machine languages used by Data scientists because it is an interpreted language and it is easy to learn and understand.

Data Scientists use Javascript to create data visualization and diagrams. It is also used to develop and design websites and applications. If you want to communicate your abilities effectively as a data scientist, Javascript is a must-learn.

Python: Python is one of the most popular data science languages. The vast library in Python makes it easy for data scientists to carry out tasks like data visualization, data analysis, etc. this is because it contains pre-built code making it easy for Data scientists who do not have a sound coding background to still work effectively. Anyone thinking of starting a career in Data Science should learn Python.

Structured Query Language (SQL): SQL is a very important language every data scientist must learn; it is used to extract various types of data from databases.
SQL is very essential because it integrates with other machine languages and it is declarative. It saves time and reduces the amount required to carry out complicated queries as a result of its brief set of commands. SQL is a must-learn for anyone starting a career in Data Science.

Other Programming languages used by data scientists are:

C/C ++
MATLAB
SAS
Scala
Java
Swift, etc.
