Mass defections and internal sabotage:upon the popularity of buhari in 2015,he still needed mass defections from pdp to apc and internal sabotage.so,atiku needs 5 governors to defect from apc and apc alongside several bigwigs while maintaining his strength.unfortunately,5 senators have left apc while more than that have left pdp also.no apc governor looks like defecting..instead,some governors look like defecting from pdp.over 5 pdp governors are set tp work against atiku and a lot of pdp stalwarts in the south are likely going to sabotage atiku...

Religious fanaticism and northern interest: one of the major reasons why the always love buhari is because he is seen as a religious fanatic,pious and a champion of northern interest and conservatism.atiku doesn't have those traits.he is too liberal and western minded.in 2019,he lost massively in Muslim dominated areas and won won in areas of the north dominated by Christians...the Muslim north clearly prefer kwankwaso.. Atiku must start appearing as a bigot and form a northern movrment but this is late...

Elitism: atiku appears too elitist to the masses.he doesnt relate with the talakawas or abokis.he is only friendly to the northern elites.he must start relating with the talakawas...
Reposition pdp: the core north do not like pdp when it comes to presidential polls. They always vote any buhari party while voting pdp and others in the local polls until 2015 and 2015 when they voted apc top to bottom.this means that they love apc...as it stands,they like kwankwaso but dont like his party.they like apc but dont like tinubu but if tinubu picks a Muslim running mate from the core north ,they will slightly prefer him.with the dominance of apc up north,a slim win will suffice.atiku should work against this...

Regain ss/se: he needs to reconcile with wike and get obi to step down

Funding: vote buying is rife.he has funds but it is limited.only okowa can support him but tinubu has limitless sources of funds.he needs more funds.
