Tottenham fans may have to wait to see their new man in action after being given a one-match ban for an incident that occurred whilst playing for Everton. Richarlison has been banned for his first game with Tottenham Hotspur and also fined £25,000 (N13m) by the English Football Association after he threw a smoke bomb during his time at Everton. The 25-year-old picked up a blue smoke bomb and threw it off the pitch after he had finished celebrating scoring the winner against Chelsea on May 1. No harm was caused but in the English FA rule book, a crime was committed.
