Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party has reacted to the remark made by his counterpart in the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso that the north will not vote for any southeastern in 2023.

Really wonder why people are referring to Peter Obi's aspiration as Igbo presidency... what is wrong if we have an Igbo man as president?

Igbos voted for Obasanjo, they never termed him Yoruba presidency.

Igbos voted for Yaradua and didn't paint the ethnic colouration.

Same thing happened when Igbos overwhelmingly voted for Atiku which is the major reason for the marginalization they are suffering now.

Question: why are people painting Obi's candidature as Igbo presidency?

Which region in Nigeria will proudly say the present administration has favoured them thus far? If Obi does well as president, it will surely have a nationalistic outlook and vise versa.
