"Light is our right" residents of Megamound Lekky County Home hold protest as they accuse the estate developer of "bullying" and preventing them from connecting to EKDC for his personal gains

The residents claim that the developer, Mr Olumide Osunsina, is preventing them from connecting to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKDC) line so they would be forced connect to his own alternative epileptic power supplier.

When residents invited EKDC to connect the estate line, Megamond allegedly invited thugs to harass and chase the officials.
Also, residents accuse Mr Osunsina of bullying and failing to filfil promises made in the past.

They claim that the estate promised to build a playground in the estate 15 years ago to attract buyers when they were selling. However, till date that promise has not been delivered.

The developer is also alleged to be frustrating residents' plan to build one for their children.

Has Otumba (MD of MEGAMOUND Investments) decided to resolve his problems with Legal Documentation/Registered Surveys of houses that his Estate Agents/Developers are selling to unsuspecting victims.? I am a resident, and quite a number are yet to get proper property documentation because Otumba will not issue after having paid over N5+M for legal Documentation more than four years after buying the property. - I will advise you to stop doing this to unsuspecting Nigerians. Stop buying properties in Lekky County Estate because there is either no Legal Documentation to issue to you or the Management is scamming residents by extorting millions of Naira and coming up with unfounded claims that the land on which the property was built encroached into another Landlords land and you have to pay for that.
