The presidential candidate of labour party Peter Obi has disagreed with the government proscription of IPOB as terrorist.
The IPOB through his military wing ESN
have targeted non-igbos, police stations, markets, and other public properties, including Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices and custodial centres.
Mr Peter Obi said he lives in Onitsha and he's pleased with Igbos and never felt threatened by their action.

Obi simply said that Ipob agitation and others are as a result bad leadership, besides, they were never violent and some atrocities ascribed to them are really not by them as there has always been criminals amongst us and when they strike, they will attribute it to IPOB and to tell you how hypocrical people are, they call SE easterners IPOB and still work , attend to the same school and do everything together with them and all this , nobody ever see them as IPOB but when they come online, the music will change and the name calling begins.
