BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
What your job role is – developing markets for and selling Rotork-manufactured electric, hydraulic and pneumatic actuators. Typical end-users include Breweries (e.g. NBL, Guinness etc); Dangote Cement/Refinery/Sugar/Salt, Oil & Gas Companies, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies, Food & Beverages Manufacturing Companies (e.g. Dufill (Indomie), Cadbury, Nestle, etc)
Following are your job descriptions:
1. You will set goals and develop plans for growing the company’s actuator business;
2. You will research prospective accounts and their contacts, and initiate contact with them;
3. You will research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives;
4. You will develop, pursue, and catch leads; and move them through our sales cycle;
5. You will develop winning quotes and proposals for prospective customers of the company;
6. You will be responsible for building long-term relationship with the company’s new and existing clients;
7. You will make yourself available, from time to time, for industry events such as seminars and conferences – inside and outside of Lagos/Nigeria;
8. You will show improvement – from one quarter to the next – in your person and on the job.

The job requires the following:
1. A good first degree – preferably in the Social Sciences. Please feel free to apply if your degree is in other fields, but you feel you have the required flair for the job;
2. Proven work experience (nothing less than 3 years, with provable results) as a Business Development Manager/Officer – responsible for B2B segment of the market;

MATERIAL PLANNER
What your job role is –
1. To schedule and forecast the right volumes of materials, goods and products inbound to the business from its supply chain companies.
2. To ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. To be able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements while maintaining the strong relationships both internally and externally needed to ensure that the supply of materials meets requirements.

Following are your job descriptions:
1. You will schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels;
2. You will plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit;
3. You will assess volume requirements against planning assumptions;
4. You will be responsible for day-to-day order management and management of deliveries ;
5. You will understand and manage risks to minimize impact of supply shocks on production schedule;
6. You will take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production;
7. You will implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement;
8. You will utilize any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required;
9. You will monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy;
10. You will monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels;
11. You will support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy;
12. You will minimize obsolete stock and ensure that the business is left with minimum liability;
13. You will create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organization with same.

The job requires the following:
1. A National Diploma or Higher National Diploma or Bachelor of Science Degree in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management. Other graduates in other fields but having a certification is Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management should feel free to apply;
2. Previous experience, minimum of 3 years, with tangible proof, of materials planning ideally in the oil and gas industry;
3. A good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies;
4. An understanding of supplier relationships and some experience of working with suppliers;
5. Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills;
6. Knowledge and experience of using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar;
7. Knowledge of lean techniques may be advantageous
8. Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, Docs, and Sheets;
9. Impeccable English Language (speaking & writing) skills;

REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN
What your job role is – skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities; performance of preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.

Following are your job descriptions:
1. You will inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, receivers, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, forced air converter units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves and capillary tubes;
2. You will conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, including boilers, gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and make necessary adjustments or repairs;
3. You will service and repair evaporative coolers;
4. You will repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, log switches, damper motors, louvers, relays, filters, controls, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, high limit controls, pressure controls, safety valves, and automatic gas valves;
5. You will operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade and a motor vehicle; maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition; maintain parts and tools in inventory;
6. You will repair and rebuild semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors and compressors for centrifugal refrigeration machines;
7. You will perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and wiring systems as needed; and connect motors to control panels;
8. You will test and examine boiler operations, observing meter and pressure gauges; conduct boiler water quality test and treatment; adjust boiler burner combustion;
9. You will lubricate and pack heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air-conditioning motors, pumps, fans, and other equipment;
10. You will install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems; flush boilers, descale tubing; rebuild pressure and temperature safety valves and water pumps;
11. You will install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets and other equipment as necessary;
12. You will maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required.

The job requires the following:
1. A National Diploma or Higher National Diploma or Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Other graduates in other Engineering fields should feel free to apply;
2. Excellent knowledge of standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade;
3. Excellent knowledge of the theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems;
4. Excellent knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems;
5. Excellent knowledge of manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade;
6. Excellent welding and soldering techniques;
7. A good awareness of Health and safety regulations in an HVAC environment;
8. Basic record-keeping techniques;
9. Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
10. Proven work experience (nothing less than 3 years, with provable results) as an HVAC Technician for residential and B2B segments of the market;
