You support a candidate based on competence, not fear. It is self deceit to base your choice on whether a candidate would win or not; that is fear and very unhealthy. You choose who can solve the problem, not who can bulldoze his way to Power.

When you repeatedly say someone cannot win an election, then the problem is you, not the people, because you don't believe in your own self. You don't have own opinion and cannot sell any opinion. You want to follow the crowd but, unfortunately, the crowd you want to follow is very crude, backward and uneducated. It's about you and your inferiority complex, not the candidate.

Make your choices according to your own conviction; that's what makes you a human being with a working brain.

This is the reason why the kind of poorly scripted statements coming from Kwankwaso, Babangida Aliyu, etc are exactly what make people think the North is backward in their thinking. When you stay in a TV studio to announce that the North would never vote a certain candidate, then you are telling us that Northerners are Mediocre with no ability to think or differentiate between good and bad. Real humans are rational and not always fully understandable nor predictable. If the Northern politicians can always control their masses to achieve every conceivable idea no matter how parochial, then the North is beyond redemption. This is the message Norther Politicians keep passing across, but they don't seem to understand this fact.

In all, I support Peter Obi right from when he picked the PDP primary form, not because of his tribe or platform, but because I know he stands out. He Stands out not only on the economy as people sing, but also with the unique quality of SELFLESSNESS glazed with experience, knowledge and the hunger for more knowledge. That makes him a complete problem solver, not a desperate power seeker. So, my support is based on conviction, not fear. I want you to do the same. We don't just need another President, we need a President that can fix Nigeria. That person is Peter Obi.
