2023: Christians Will Not Vote For Parties With Same Faith - CAN

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger state Chapter has declared that it will not encourage Christians to vote for any Political Party that fields same faith for the 2023 Governorship Election.

The umbrella of all Christian bodies in the state,(CAN) also said that it will fully support Christians vying for any elective office in the state.

The state CAN Chairman, Most Reverend Bulus Dauwa Yohana who made this known after an emergency meeting with State Executive members, Local Government Coordinators, Bloc and other leaders held at the State Secretariat in Minna said Christians had been marginalised in the past adding that it is now time to take a decisive stand.

“As equal stakeholders in Niger state who are concerned about the development of the state, we are ready to mobilize all Christians not to support and vote for any Political Party that undermines us to present a same faith ticket for the forthcoming general elections,” the Chairman declared.

In a statement by his Media Aide, Daniel Atori, the Chairman also remarked, “we have resolved to allow equity, justice and fairness to play out. We are aware that there have been so many arguments as to the population of Christians in the state; Well, democracy is said to be a game of numbers and the next elections will surely show our position.

“We call on all eligible Nigerlites especially Christians to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) so as to participate in the 2023 general elections if you truly want to effect positive change.

Bishop Yohanna said , “all we are telling political parties is that with our voters’ cards, we will sway votes towards the party that respect Christians in the state.”

Now that Tinubu has announced a Muslim/Muslim presidential candidacy, any Spiritual father, Mentor, Church, or Christian that supports him or votes for him has left the faith and has betrayed the Church of Christ.

They have also by that action proven to us that they are the real enemies of Christianity in Nigeria.

All members of such Spiritual Fathers', Mentors and Pastors should stop attending such churches, as they may not be safe under such a leader.

If under President Buhari with a Pastor as Vice President, Christians are being killed like chicken.

Under a Muslim/ Muslim govt, there may not be Christians anywhere in the land.

Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu should know better.

Because even his marriage is a Muslim/Christian arrangement.

Nigeria is already on the path of Islamization.

This move is to completely achieve the Islamization agenda.

Go read the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you won't find the word Christianity, God, and Church there, but you will find the word Islam and muslim there.

Islam is mentioned 28 times.

Muslim is mentioned 10 times.

But you won't find the word Church, Christ, and Christian there.

Don't believe me, go and read it for yourself.

Only a Spiritual father who has placed Personal interest above our collective interest will support this evil.

Dear Obidients. Please read this without bias.

Obi is the right man for the job as it stands but this election will either be between APC and PDP( Sentiments aside).. I would have voted and fully support Obi if either Osibanjo or Ameachi were on the ballot for APC, not minding who wins.

But as it stands, a vote for Peter obi will only increase the chances of Tinubu winning the election. Most Peter obi supporters are from the South south, south East and North Central which are PDP strong holds. It will only split PDP votes and give Tinubu an edge.

Please if you are not in support of Muslim-Muslim ticket, pls vote PDP, if not the country will be governed by the Muslim for 24 straight years.

Peter Obi will not win in any APC strong hold. He will only split the PDP votes in the south there by giving APC an edge.

Peter Obi is the best candidate, but PDP is definitely better than APC. A vote for Obi as it stands is a vote indirectly for APC.
