Alternatives To White-collar Jobs Will Reduce Crime And Vices! - Uloka by Newsletter01: 11:29am On Jul 11, 2022
Young Nigerians must be advised to diversify into other skills as alternative to white-collar jobs.

There are shortage of Mechanics, electricians, carpenters, tillers, and numerous other artisan Jobs and in demand skills/profession in Nigeria at present.

Yet the number of unemployed citizens are surging daily.

The goldmine placed on white collar jobs isn’t forthcoming. People must diversify and explore other opportunities.

Our young people are not encouraged enough to explore the opportunities and goldmines in artisanship, because we were taught in school that every graduate must work in the bank, hospital, and offices with suit and tie.

Whatever Job that doesn’t come with suit and tie, isn’t meant for a graduate. That’s a hoax.

Globally, certificate holders seldom confine themselves to suit and tie Jobs, but entrepreneurship and artisanship.

Certificates aren’t a guarantee for Jobs, rather a proof for knowledge acquisition.

Outside classroom and conventional Education certification, there’s Need for one to diversify and reduce the pressure on white collar jobs.

Nigeria is an under-developed and a third world country, that our challenges are enormous. The country lacks the capacity to meet the demand of majority of citizens.

The lack of proper orientation is reason why our young people are trooping into crime and other vices as alternative and would blame the Government in return.

Certificates are not guarantee for Success in a country like ours. One must go beyond certificates acquisition and at some point become unorthodox to achieve success.

The rush for white collar Jobs and quick wealth is chiefly responsible for the rate of corruption in the country; because demand in Jobs are high while supply is low.

There’s No shame being a graduate and working as a carpenter, tiller, mechanic, and numerous others artisan profession.

Rescue yourself from crime and unemployment.
