PDP CONDEMNS GUN ATTACKS ON LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATE

The Osun governorship candidate of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, has strongly condemned reported invasion of the residence of Hon Rt Hon Lasun Yusuf, the governorship candidate of Labour Party, describing the incident as "an aggravated threat to the peaceful conduct of Saturday's elections.

In a statement issued on his behalf by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Senator Adeleke called for urgent review of security architecture for the election even as he called on the security agencies to conduct security audit and mapping of the state before Saturday elections.

"The news of alleged attack on my brother and fellow aspirant is condemnable as it is reprehensible. We just had a debate in which electoral violence took the bulk of our time. I had expressed my fears and worries about security situation in the state. I had warned against politicization of security institutions. Less than 24 hours, we wake up to reading news of such dastardly attack.

"Election is not a war; it is about voters freely electing their leaders. Democracy is about free choice. Our people should be allowed to vote for leader of their choice without violence and intimidation. I call on the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of Department State Service and all service Chiefs to help secure Osun state. Osun is being overwhelmed by sponsored, armed political thugs", the governorship hopeful warned.

While urging the people of the state to remain steadfast and troop out to cast their votes, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke affirmed that people's power is supreme in a democracy , calling for sustained mass mobilisation to enthrone PDP as the next ruling party in the state.

"We are the people. Nothing can stop us from victory. Don't be scared to cast and defend your votes. With God and people, our victory is assured", Adeleke was quoted as saying in the statement.

MC OLUOMO LAGOS STATE THUG LEADER IN OSUN TO RIG ELECTION FOR OYETOLA.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola imported thugs from Lagos to Osun, purposely to attack other contestants in the coming Election.
Just yesterday after the Tv debate, thugs went to Lasun Yusuf's house to attack him, and to use that as a warning to all Osun Residents that Oyetola's thugs has arrived.

Oyetola thugs harassment will never save Oyetola from defeat on July 16th governorship Election �.

ADELEKE AND THE CHANNELS DEBATE.

The PDP's candidate was personally in attendance and physically participated at the Channels TV Osun 2022 Governorship Debate.

At the said Debate held today 10th July, 2022, Senator Ademola Adeleke raised/addressed the following issues:
1. On how to improve security....
He mentioned Neighbourhood security watch/alert.. He mentioned the local hunters and how to involve the traditional rulers and community heads like it was in the past. He talked about equipping the security agencies especially the police.

He talked about recruiting more into the AMOTEKUN and how to ensure they focus on security of lives and property and not to use them as agents of oppression against political opponents. At that point he challenged Governor Oyetola and demanded that the Governor should make a pledge not to use AMOTEKUN unjustly as agents of oppression during the election.
He mentioned surveillance as part of security measures and there he raised the issue of the HELICOPTER again!

2. On how to improve the economy
Senator Ademola Adeleke promised to first of all block all leakages and to stop capital flight. He promised to ensure adequate provision of infrastructures like good roads etc, to attract investors in order to improve the state's IGR. He also talked about patronising local contractors and invest in agric to boost the economy.

3. ON EDUCATION
He promised skill-based education. He promised to ensure recruitment of quality teachers and regular payment of their allowances, provision of library facilities in our schools, focus on technical and vocational education.

4. ON HIS "DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR" STATEMENT
He stated that he meant by that bringing in foreign investors.

5. ON FOREIGN INVESTMENT
Senator Ademola Adeleke promised to prioritise infrastructures that will attract foreign investors. He talked about facilities like the Airport, that such would definitely attract foreign investors.

By my own assessment, Senator Ademola Adeleke has disappointed his detractors and shamed his enemies. He performed to the delight of his supporters and to the displeasure of those who had earlier predicted his absence at the debate. For me, that performance was enough to put out the fire of hatred already kindled against OMO BALOGUN and to pull down the empires of lies built against him. He is a Starboy anytime anyday.

He can not read, he has been reading, he cannot write, he has been writing, he cannot speak, he has been speaking. "Eyi O wu a wi, t'Oluwa lase". No manipulation can stop a phenomenon whose time has come. Saturday July 16th, 2022 is around the corner. The Osun electorates have already made up their mind and the feelers are that victory is positively tilting towards the PDP's candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke by overwhelming popular majority. For Osun PDP, victory is assured.
