The House of Representatives yesterday lambasted former President Olusegun Obasanjo for calling on Speaker Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to resign in 2013 in order to correct the zoning arrangement of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Rep Victor Ogene (APGA, Anambra) who spoke to newsmen on the issue said Tambuwal was not a Speaker of the PDP but of the House of Representatives.

Ogene maintained that it was absolutely improper for the former President to have called for the resignation of Tambuwal because he was not a member of the House of Representatives.

Welcome to politics 101 according to OBJ and his ilk . I.e control Nigeria's wealth through your strategic 'Capitans' . One day it will finally become crystal clear to Nigerians that 98% of folks in the PDP are only there to partake in sharing our National cake amongst themselves while freezing everyone else out. I am not surprised OBJ made this statement. Folks like him, David Mark, Anenih et al don't want the ship of progressive politics to ever berth in Nigeria . They prefer for that ship to carry bypass us and carry on travelling to Benin, Togo, Cameroon, Ghana et al .
