As the state is now getting 20 billion Naira in monthly allocation, he and his friends, family, relations and local government people are now swimming in money, building houses everywhere and other personal acquisitions with his Igbo friends. Now, Diri keeps quiet about this and still maintains the impression that there is no money and that he is paying huge debts when everybody knows that the former governor left Bayelsa as the least indebted state in the south.

Everyone in bayelsa knows that when Dickson was about leaving,he emptied the treasury and only left behind 34k while owing up to 60% of workers salaries!

The people of Bayelsa did not reject David Lyon. In fact, they voted massively for him. It was the Supreme Court that denied Lyon the benefit of his electoral victory.

Duoye Diri is an illegitimate governor who was not voted in by the people. The negative news coming from the state is therefore not surprising. So sad the people of Bayelsa are now at the receiving end of the irresponsible Diri administration.
