Thousands of Twitter users have been unable to log into their accounts today.

Reports of problems first began to surface at arounds 12:45 BST (07:45 ET).

More than 7,000 reports of issues have been logged on Down Detector.

It's the go-to social media app for users around the world, but it appears that Twitter has crashed this afternoon.

People have been left unable to login to their accounts, meaning they also can't post or view tweets.

Twitter is down for many users in the U.S. and several other countries around the world on Thursday, July 14. Both the Twitter mobile app for iPhone and Android and the Twitter website are not working right now due to the server issues.

According to Down Detector, a website which monitors such outages, reports of problems first began to surface at about 12:45 BST (07:45 ET).

More than 7,000 reports of problems have been logged on Down Detector, with users struggling to access Twitter via both the app and website.

Some 57 per cent of users are experiencing problems with the app, while 38 per cent are having trouble with the app.

A further 6 per cent are reporting an inability to post.

AU donates equipment to Multinational Joint Task Force

The African Union(AU) has gifted a range of military equipment to the Headquarters Sector 3 of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF).

The equipment comprising of military trucks, water tankers, super mobile generators, anti-riot APCs, improvise explosive device equipment, tents, as well as Information and office equipment, will improve and enhance the combat efficiency of the Sector.

The Force Commander (FC), Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Major General Abdul Ibrahim on Tuesday, 12 July 2022 handed over some of the donated equipment and logistics to Commander Sector 3 OPHK/MNJTF, Maj Gen GM Mutkut at Maimalari Military Cantonment.
