I don't understand why these friendly overseas matches give trophies. They mean nothing. Litterally less than winning a PL game. Talk about a trophy...
The important thing is to prepare all players to be in ideal condition for the start of the PL and get the best possible start. We have a tough calendar, so the preparation needs to be perfect

Why do they give trophies for one off friendly games. I get it when they used to play mini friendly tournaments but these one off games it seems silly.
