GOV. UZODIMMA INSPECTS ONGOING PROJECTS INCLUDING DESILTING OF WATERWAYS, ROADS, AND BALLOON TECHNOLOGY IN THE STATE In an ongoing process to eradicate flooding, The Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma visited Rapour Junction and Akwakuma road as the desilting of the waterways commences. The Governor during the inspection urged residents blocking the waterways and drainages to evacuate the structures to enable the free flow of water during the raining season to avoid flooding. The Governor satisfied at the quality of job on ground also urged the Contractors to hasten efforts. It is worthy of note that there are positive testimonies of other balloon technology as Egbu / Dick Tiger residents and commuters shower encomium on Governor Hope Uzodimma for the eradication of flood in the major parts of the State.
