His closest rival and incumbent Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in the remaining 13 LGAs. The collation exercise for the governorship election held on Saturday July 16, which commenced in the early hours of Sunday July 16, at the INEC office in Osogbo, the state capital was concluded few minutes ago. .the reason why this cannot be repeated at the presidential poll is because most of those clamouring for peter obi are PDP supporters... So by the time the 2019 votes of PDP are shared with Labour party....APC will have a smooth ride to victory If you noticed, labour party did not score up to 100 votes, but in the presidential election, they are expected to score a minimum of 25% of total votes cast...and those votes will come from PDP supporters |
