It's only Aregbesola who can work for a president even if he was unpopular like Ribadu and deliver. Even Tinubu sold Ribadu in that year to the opposition party

The massacre that is happening under his watch is so bad.

Rochas no even killed Imo youths yet they resisted him and his in-law. Hope will come a distant fourth again in 2024 elections. He cannot even expect youths in his Orlu strong hold to vote for him. He don kill them finish

You're even a joker if you think south west we support Tinubu, however Nigeria is tired of evil party called apc

Re: After Osun, Opposition Parties Will Go Into 2023 Elections With High Hopes by Lifeangel(m): 3:25pm On Jul 19, 2022
There are factors that will determine the winner of presidential election.
Foremost, the region where the candidate is coming from must be put into consideration. The northern region produced the incumbent president,Muhammad Buhari,a hausa fulani man. So,other regions will do everything possible to feature someone from theirs. In other words, any candidate produced by the north would be edge-out irrespective of political parties.
Secondly, the personality features by the parties matter most. For instance, the best candidate PDP could have featured was Peter Obi. We must be logical at this juncture. By all standards,PO is far better than Atiku. Is it articulation, presentation, business orientation, brainstorming on issues to find lasting results, track record and mental prowess. Unfortunately,PDP failed to be logical in thinking and went for Atiku who is lacking record of all round integrity.
Thirdly, manifesto of the party and the personality running for the office of the president. It's sad that more than average Nigerians don'tknow what manifesto is,talkless of caring for it. The agenda and perspiration of the party is rapped in manifesto.
Lastly, the masses choice is a big factor. The power of any governments to be lies with the masses. If any one running for the office of the president would be attentive to the groaning and plight of the masses and determines to proffer solutions to them by alleviating the loads of hardship and poverty, they will not only vote him in but also ready to serve him. This is what transpired 2015 that brought Muhammad Buhari to power, unfortunately the ruling party quickly forgot.

and you think the fulani will abandon their own and vote for a yoruba man that publicly insulted buhari? Tinubu made a mistake of picking another Muslim as his running mate, and that singular mistake will destroy his lifetime ambition. The northern Christians would have been the people that will save him when fulani disappointed him but he foolishly play to the galary.

Ok

So, it is the Osun election that will give opposition hope for 2023.

The problem with Nigeria is that people like to deceive themselves, especially the IBOS. If Osun election had taken place in the East (Anambra or Ebonyi or Abia or any State in the East), no Yoruba man would have lost his sleep over the election and INEC would not have gone through the routine tension and anxiety of Ekiti and Osun elections which signify the preparation for the coming year GENERAL ELECTION.

The outcome of Anambra election or any election in the South East is of no importance to anybody in the South West and of no effect to the direction of any political party performance in the coming year.

People failed to face the reality of Internal political rivalry, dichotomy and conflict of interests and political game in South West from Awolowo / Akintola era and UPN / NPN era till date. I expected APC to win Osun election because of Tinubu because of South East and Northern people who are not part of us. I travelled to Osun in 2018, I was at Ikoyi,Ede and Ilesa. I went from Ilesa to Osogbo on another journey. The roads were chaotic. Most of the women selling Agbo in Lagos, Onitsha, Asaba are from Osun. The people are not concerned with Nigeria politics but survival.

Moreover, some people still believed Isiaka Adeleke was poisoned because he wanted to takeover from Aregbesola but Aregbesola wanted to impose candidate which is not possible in the presence of Isiaka Adeleke whom Aregbesola cannot crawl where he walks.

That was the genesis of internal crisis at Osun. If Ademola Adeleke was not driven away by Aregbesola, he could have replaced his brother in APC.

Whatever happened at Osun is an internal South West politics. EDE is a game. Omisore impact is waning, but he tried. Ijesha is a major problem to APC.

At the National election, it would be a different ball game.

With what just happened in Osun, there's nothing Yoruba can't do as long as it pleases other tribes.

I fear Yoruba now I tell ya!

What Osun did is like breaking the legs of their representatives just before a marathon. Osun dealt a huge blow to Tinubu's political credits and took away so many cards from him. Think about the extra work Tinubu will now have to do in the north to show that he still has a lot of support at home too and not just from them alone. It has always been God and it will take a special favor of God for him to pull through.

The sufferings Osun will go through ehn, they won't know what hit them because there will always be propaganda machine to endlessly gaslight them. Also, write it down, Adeleke will be a tyrant and won't allow for free and fair elections in 4 years, just watch. Osun deserves it all and I will be watching and be making fun of them.
