That is a very dangerous proposal. Who went to prisons to campaign? Won't this end up being a case of exchanging votes for a promise of freedom? They are prisoners and their priority is to regain their freedom. That is what parties will leverage on. Not free-will

I am not in support of this move at all!!!

On what grounds should these guys be voting? What are they contributing to the growth of this country to accord them that honor?
They are incarcerated for a reason and I’m sure it’s not for doing the right thing.

Nigerians in the Diaspora have been one of the backbones of Nigeria’s economy yet they can’t vote! Tell me why a convicted felon that contributes nothing to the nation except crime should be rewarded with selecting our leaders yet those that contribute hard currencies to the national purse can’t!

What is wrong with us for goodness sake?!
Are we under a spell or something?

God!!!!

. . . And the former US envoy was so right about the evil plague!

Same way the Igbos were also very right about the monster called buharia!

NOW THE IGBOS ARE ONCE AGAIN SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR VOICE THAT THE ANIMAL CALLED BAT IS AN EVIL ANIMAL AND A VAMPIRE!

And some still choose to be deaf. . . saying they are BAT-ified!

How can a human being accept to be a BAT of all animals! USU-NGWU!

BAT! an animal that cannot be classified as bird and cannot be classified as land animal! TUFIAKWA!

Well sha! myself and my entire family, friends and relations has whole heartedly accepts to be OBI-DIENT! [ Your OBITUARY cannot give you biafra. What your mini-god called kanu tried and failed. Your families and friends believed that attacking tinubu with your bittercoated mouth can defame tinubu. We shall see.]

On the contrary, I think its a brilliant idea.
No it's not. Prison automatically rids you off your franchise to vote

I believe it also depends on crimes committed. People get to prison for merely failing to repay debt on time or traffic rules violations.
