Yes Rivers united is a state sponsored club and there should be reward for bringing glory to the state.

Sports in Nigeria are basically state sponsored, Just as Buhari recently approved the bonuses of the Super Falcons after they protested against backlogs of unpaid allowances.

So youngman stop wailing and felicitate with people in times of their successes, it will also interest you to note that Rivers united did not only top the league but they broke the premiership record by winning the title with the highest point of 77 and a margin of 10points to their closest rival, they also produced the first and third highest goal scorer awards, conceded the least numbers of goals and recorded the highest away wins.

All these impressive achievements should count for something.
