The Intrigues Of NNPC Privatization by solidifi: 1:41pm On Jul 22, 2022 |
The federal government of Nigeria under the rulership of Mohammadu Buhari has announced the handing over of their 'milk and honey' corporation (NNPC) to individual hands, hence the new name NNPC Ltd. The issues or questions now are: 1. When a company becomes a Ltd company, it has its Owners (MD/CEO, Chairman), Shareholders, Board of Directors, own workers etc. 2. The workers of NNPC Ltd till this minute are still the workers of Nigeria's Ministry of Petroleum. The questions: 1. Who are the current Owners (MD/CEO, Chairman), Shareholders, Board of Directors, workers of NNPC Ltd? 2. The current workers of NNPC Ltd will be paid from which purse? 3. How much did it cost (revenue from the hand over) of NNPC? 4. Is it going to be NNPC Ltd but being run by Ministry of Petroleum? The intrigues are numerous. This administration should with utmost curiosity address all theses. 1 Like 1 Share |
