In an effort to address serious issues affecting the school, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Governor of Oyo State Engineer Seyi Makinde recently met with key stakeholders.

Representatives of the Alumni body, the LAUTECH governing council, the Ogbomoso community, and representatives of the state’s Ministry of Education were present at the meeting, which was held at the Presidenrial Lodge of the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.

According to a statement from the governor’s chief press secretary, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, the meeting, which went into the early hours of Friday, covered important topics like the University’s chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ (ASUU) participation in the ongoing nationwide strike action, the multi-campus status of the institution and the proposed name change.
