Step 1: Visit the INEC website
Registering your PVC online, The first thing you need to do is visit the INEC registration portal and select “Get Started”.

A new page will show up and you will click on “New Voter Pre-registration”.

Note: if you know that you have PVC before, do not use this option, it is only for a new PVC registration. There are other options for card lost or renewal of PVC cards.

before I proceed, it is a crime if you attempt to obtain PVC twice in any form pls be careful. Wait for confirmation once you apply and do not apply twice.

Step 2: Create a portal account or log in
Creating an account will be the second step in this process, a registration form will show up, and you will be required to sign up or log in to an existing account, Fill in the necessary information required like full name, email address, phone number and password.

Note: it is important you use an email address you have access to because you will be required to confirm the email address with a short code or link sent to your mail. If not seen open your email spam folder to check for mail sent.

A mail will appear from INEC CVR Portal, open it and click the link in the mail, you will be redirected to a page you have encountered earlier, but you will need to log in with the previous information you have provided on the sign-up page.

After you have a login, you will be taken to a declaration page to confirm all information is genuine and ensure to click yes before proceeding.
