Is there anyone else experiencing this? I've never gone for any NIN registration before neither have I linked my line with any NIN before, but my line still works like normal. I make calls and do everything else. Sim is 10 years old now

That's fraudulent.

Please go to the nearest MTN office and report this to them.

Say no to fraudulent activities.

If you have a valid national ID card you don't need to do NIN, because you already have a NIN. That's why your SIM wasn't blocked

Maybe you have done it unknowingly, I could remember sometime ago around 2015 or thereabout MTN called for mandatory validation of sim cards; in the process they also registered some people for NIN. I know few people that benefited from that exercise.
