New-York based Nigerian clothier Tommy Olawale AKA Tommy DNC, has drowned hours after posting a video of himself in a boat.

In a video he shared on his Instagram page on saturday july 23rd, he was having fun on a boat.

Hours later, his friends including Davido and Yomi Gold stormed his page to express shock at his sudden demise.

According to comments from his friends on his page, he died after he drowned.

Why I never fvck with water!

Even as a member of elite club where I have free discounted offers for intercontinental and boat cruise, I have never accepted it.

I rather die in a plane crash than drown!

Even driving on a bridge over water body, I will never drive past 50MPH. Afterwards, I can go unlimited...

One of the very few reasons I always urge my friends to learn how to swim. Most times I do pay and enforce to see I teach them myself.

I can remember I learnt swimming in 2003,I can't rent a fuckin g 100$ an hour boat and not put on a life jacket. It's like turboing on 240kph on a v12 engine and refused to use seat belts.

Hollywood movies don deceive alot of people......

If you can’t swim, no near water. Some people drown from tea cups talk less of oceans or GP tanks. E sure me die say nobody sabi CPR for that boat. Combine both catastrophes and realize death was imminent for him. The only exciting view of water is in a beach. I don’t see why someone will go on a boat cruise.
