THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS. Volume 2, Part 6.

1Peter 2:9 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Today we continue our study series titled THE BLESSINGS AND BENEFITS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS to enable us to walk in the fullness of the resurrection power.

6. Thank God for the resurrection of Jesus. As a result of the resurrection of Jesus the power of the wicked spirits in the heavenly places have been broken and destroyed. Before the resurrection of Jesus no man either living or dead had access to heaven. All men who died either went down to hell or Hades otherwise known as Abraham's bossom. The wicked spirits in the heavenly places ensured that man had no access to God and God had no free access to man because of sin and iniquity. Sin became the big barrier between God and man. Heaven became so far away from man and God also became so far in the minds of men because of sin. Hence it became more difficult for man to remember God in their daily decisions and actions.

When Jesus came as a man and defeated the devil, all the principalities, powers, the rulers of darkness of this world and the wicked spirits in the heavenly places lost all their power and authority to the man Jesus. The bible says in Colossians 2:13-15 (KJV) "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

When Jesus died He went to the lowest parts of the earth and when He rose from the dead He ascended into the highest heavens that He might fill all things and put all things under His authority. So when Jesus was ascending into heaven no principalities or power was able to stop Him because all power and authority on earth, under the earth and the heavens including the devil and all his kingdom were now subject to Jesus. By the power of the resurrection Jesus ascended into heaven with all the old testament saints. And at the same time the way and access for angels into the earth to serve the saints became open.

God is now no longer far away from man but now dwells in man and with men. It was impossible for God to dwell in men and with men while sin, death and the devil were lord over men and the whole earth. You cannot have two masters or lords at the same time and same place. On the day of Pentecost the sound of the mighty rush of wind that was heard was the billions of angels released into the earth to minister or serve all the sons of God. As the scriptures say in Hebrews 1:13-14 (KJV) "But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" Ephesians 1:19-23; 2:11-19; 4:8-10; 6:12; 1Corinthians 6:19-20; 15:24-28,50-58; Psalms 24:7-10; Matthew 27:50-53; Luke 16:19-26; Romans 1:18-32; Philippians 2;5-11; Colossians 1:16-20,27; 3:1-4; Revelation 1:18; Hebrews 2:5-16; 4:16; 10:19-20; 1Peter 3:21-22; Acts 17:28; 2Corinthians 6:16;

The bottom line of all what we are saying is that God wants you to begin to see yourself in the eyes and light of all that the resurrection of Jesus has done for you and has made you. And no more in your fleshly natural sin nature so that you can begin to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of the mystery of the resurrection power which includes eternal life and freedom from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty, demonic oppression, fear, doubts, anxieties and death.

If you need healing the bible says In Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Himself took all our sicknesses and diseases. Therefore you can receive your healing now by faith in the name of Jesus. Just lay your hand on the affected area of your body and say this prayer. Father God in the name of Jesus I believe that Jesus died for my healing. I believe He took all my sickness and diseases on the cross. If He took them, then I cannot have them. Therefore I resist and I reject every sickness in my body and I confess Jesus today as my healer and I receive my healing now. Thank you Jesus that I am healed. 1Peter 2:24; Ps 107:20.
Now begin to do what you couldn't do before because of the sickness. You are healed in Jesus name.

Jesus is coming very soon. Are you ready? Heaven is real, hell is real. Judgement Day is coming. The time is very short. Choose Jesus today.
You can become a born again child of God today. The bible says If you shalt confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12.

Say this prayer: O God have mercy on me. I come to you today in the name of Jesus. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He died for me. I believe that you raised Him from the dead for my salvation. I accept Jesus in my heart today and I confess Him today as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you Father that today I am saved In Jesus name.
