The Rivers state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and its affiliate union on Tuesday embarked on a two-day  warning protest , to register its displeasure over the lingering ASUU strike and other issues affecting the country .

The protest which took off from the 10 Igbokwe Street about 9: 30 in the morning saw workers marched through fruits Garden to Okija Streets, , then to Ikwerre road and terminated at government house on Azikiwe road. where various union Leaders expressed displeasure over the lingering ASUU Strike and other national issue boldly written on the  placards with different inscriptions.
