Easternmind: The ''system here in Nigeria'' supported her and supports the entire Team Nigeria in Oregon, and they were even recipients of a 1 million dollar largesse, and she, Amusan received 30,000 dollars cash from it, in addition to the normal team allowances that have all been paid. So go and park somewhere abeg. If you are good it cannot be hidden. Most talented Nigerians who did not excel in sports was due to their parents beating it out of them and insisting they become engineers and doctors. Has nothing to do with ''the system''. If you can run like Tobi, you will get noticed and get support. |
