Fresh off the razzmatazz of the show’s launch and the arduous head-of-house tasks, BBNaija’s season 7 housemates took off day 4 to highlight their budding romantic connections.

CRUSHES

After meeting each other on the show for the first time at the head of house tasks, housemates from the two levels seem to have been smitten with each other. Khalid confided in Daniella about his crush on Doyin while Amaka seems to have her gaze set firmly on Sheggz.

As for intra-level crushes, Level One’s Doyin seems to be emotionally distraught over her unrequited feelings for Sheggz. She confided this in Dotun (who ironically seems to have a crush on her) about her discomfort over the growing bond between Bella and Sheggz.

Polyamorist, Hermes had his turn with romantic ill luck as he was turned down gently by Allysyn, who responded to his advances by expressing her emotional unavailability to him.

ILLNESS

In a game of "two lies and a truth", season heartthrob Adekunle, revealed to the house that he suffered from a “serious medical ailment” which later turned out to be ulcer.

At the time of his initial reveal, housemates and viewers were perplexed as there was a collective ponder on the nature of illness the level one housemate suffered from.

FIRST DIARY SESSION

The Level Up housemates participated in their first diary session for the season.

The sessions went from playful requests, like Phyna asking Big Brother for filters for when she cooked rice and Groovy pleading for the AC temperatures to be reduced to laborious monologues from Beauty.

Other housemates used the opportunity to access the threat levels of fellow housemates as well as the competition from the opposing levels.
