Nigerian Legal Practitioner and former APC National Legal Adviser DH Bwala has joined the PDP after resigning from the APC.

Bwala had on 10th of July announced his resignation from APC in protest against Muslim-Muslim ticket following the announcement of Senator Shettima as VP candidate.

Announcing that he has joined the PDP, Bwala wrote:

Today I officially joined @OfficialPDPNig for the following reasons;
1. PDP presents a clear vision for one Nigeria
2. PDP is the party with the realistic chance of defeating APC
3. Atiku is the only candidate with superior experience to lead Nigeria out of the woods
