The fact is that,Islam in Nigeria does not encourage education in every aspect of it.

Take the North for example,they prefer to see themselves incubated by archaic teachings without first looking at their own future and that of their children before religion.

Go to Tunisia the way of people is enshrined in the constitution,no Polygamy is allowed,no child marriage is allowed.
Same in Tunisia,if u are married to two wives,u are liable to be sentenced to 1 year in Prison.

In Turkey,Polygamy was proscribed or banned in 1926 and it is prohibited by law. Same in Morocco there is no Polygamy there.

These countries are more rooted in Islam than any group of Muslims in black Africa yet their freedom before religion.
In Saudi Arabia,u can't pick a second wife if u can't proof that u are financially capable to take care of your new wife.

The reason why yoruba Muslims don't fancy education is because of multiple children whom many can't take care and that is why,they are unable to be like their peers who do not practice same religion.

This isn't something to be argued about, it's a well known fact. Just like saying Southerners are more educated than notherners
