The Jagaban is guilty too. During his tenure as governor, he appointed an Igbo as Commissioner for Budget and Planning. He appointed Igbo as Permanent Secretaries. 20% of teachers in Lagos state schools were Igbo. There sere 5 Igbos in the State House of Assembly with one of them trying to sponsor a bill that would make English the only language in the State Assembly. Two Igbos were elected as Members of the House of Reps, representing Lagos in Abuja...They were hoping to read about ISWAP planning to attack Lagos. 8 Likes |

Lagos will be great like Paris or Hong Kong one day. Without the influx of the whole Nigerian people who moved to Lagos because of the concentration of infrastructure spending to enhance it's federal capital status, Lagos would have remained another Abeokuta. Vote for reputable candidates that will remove tribalism from the dictionary of mischievous lazy people like this OP by creating work that will keep him busy and making money instead of claiming a city state which belongs to every Nigerian. Say no to tribalistic bigots. Vote for LP. Peter Obi and Yusuf Baba Datti Ahmed will change the narrative of tribalism and bigotry in Nigeria. 17 Likes 1 Share |

The Igbos are not different from Fulani when it comes to land grabbing and subjugation of other tribes. But while they are masters of gaslighting and emotional blackmail, the Fulanis are master strategists and master deceivers. This is why we have never seen any video of Fulani herdsmen attacking people or claiming responsibility for attacks, but we have seen several videos of ESN members killing people. 4 Likes |

Fear not, vote for your guy and allow others to vote for their persons. No one is bringing guns to take Lagos from anyone. Again you should be excited and not threatened that Igbos see Lagos as their home. They refuse to see themselves as strangers in Lagos and they strive to to improve and make the city better. |

It seems most of you Yorubas have inferiority complex and cowardice wired inside of you. How is Lagos an Igbo State ? Are you foolish ? How can Lagos be an Igbo state or how can Igbos come all the way from Southeast to take Lagos away from Yorubas, are you guys really okay or you lots have gone bonkers or what? I just cant understand this disheartening hatred and obsession for Igbos by Yorubas. Igbos no send una oh, Igbos only care about excelling in whatever they do, doing their businesses, building good houses, safeguarding the financial future of their children and living a quality life. Any Igbo man that tells you he wants to take over Lagos is only deceiving you because he knows that's what most of you Yorubas hallucinate about all day. You Yorubas sometimes act like fools by believing in your foolishness. Just imagine the nonsense someone wrote, that Igbos plan to snatch Lagos away from Yorubas hahahahaha and the same Igbos want to secede from Nigeria to leave behind their huge investments and properties in your Lagos which they also did in 1966 without looking back yet you are here deluding yourself and deceiving your fellow gullible Yoruba urchins lolz. Lagos is a Yoruba state and nobody can change it, stop being foolish nobody is dragging Lagos with Yorubas not till eternity. You Yorubas should stop being jittery over nothing, haba. How many Igbos have became Lagos state Governor or Oba or LGA Chairman or Iyaloja or any other key leaders of Lagos? Why are most of you Yorubas so scared and cowardly towards Igbos that don't send you. And stop all these Tinubu made Lagos this and that, who is Tinubu? Lagos made Tinubu who he is by stealing and looting Lagos money yet you fools worship a corrupt man like Tinubu that stole your treasury and giving you hungry lots paltry to hero worship him in the name of being Omoluabi or whatever that means. Please let me repeat it again, Lagos can never be an Igbo state. Lagos is a purely Yoruba owned state and so shall it be till the end of the world. Igbos have no interest in Lagos. If Igbos do, they won't be asking for independence to go back and build their own nation, get that into your cowardly skull. The only reason Igbos are many in Lagos is because of some reasons below: 1.) Lagos was the capital city of Nigeria for decades and most government institutions and organizations had their headquarters in Lagos so it was natural to migrate there for economic survival. 2.) Lagos was and still a port city that also doubles as a capital city cum economic hub of Nigeria so it was natural for Igbos known for trade to flood to Lagos to carry out their import and export business since the Nigerian government used one sided and divisive policies to make Lagos seaports the only viable and cheapest ports to carry out imports and exports, sending Calabar, Rivers and Delta ports to the back stage. 3.) Before now, Lagos international airport was the only closest Intl airport closest to Igbos. and Igbos are known for migration and exploring countries, so Lagos intl airport became the only option for them to fly in and out of Nigeria and to also bring in goods after they leave Nigeria. 4.) Foreign country embassies. Before now, Lagos being the capital city of Nigeria became headquarters of all foreign countries embassies and consular offices for Nigerians that wished to travel outside Nigeria to obtain other countries' visas. So it was impossible for any Igbo that wanted to leave Nigeria not to go to Lagos to get visa documentation. So it was federal government policies that attracted Igbos to Lagos and it was federal government policies that favoured Lagos in so many economic reforms and stuffs that made Lagos the hub of Nigeria's economy it is today not one greedy, corrupt Bola Tinubu. Ojukwu's father was the richest man in Lagos before Nigeria's independence, Tinubu has not been born then, so stop all those nonsense thrash about Tinubu did this and that in Lagos. And for this, Igbos grew to become the second largest tribe in Lagos after Yorubas, and Igbos contributed immensely to the development of Lagos state to what it is today. Igbos made Lagos the hub of Nigeria's movie industry all thanks to Alaba marketers. Igbos made Lagos the hub of automobile spare parts in Nigeria and west africa, all thanks to Ladipo used spare parts market and Trade Fair ASPAMDA brand new parts market. Igbos made Lagos the hub of computer and phone markets, all thanks to Ikeja computer village. and so many others that you already know. But instead of you ungrateful Yorubas to cherish Igbos, you rather became envious and suspicious of Igbo people's growth and success in Lagos to the extent you cowards started hallucinating that Igbos plan to take over Lagos and make it Igbo state, how? Have you heard or seen where Biafra agitators mentioned Lagos as part of Igbo or Biafra before ? Igbos abandoned their wealth and propertiers in Lagos in 1966 and went back to Igbo land when the war broke out, did they drag Lagos with you Yorubas? They didn't care about their wealth in Lagos yet they abandoned to go build a new country of their own and what did you hateful Yorubas did? You joined Northerners to fight Igbos and forced them back to join you in destroying what you call Nigeria yet you wicked lots still have the guts to tell Igbos to go back to their region. How many times have Igbos made efforts to secede from Nigeria peacefully to go form their own country so that you Yorubas can peacefully enjoy your Lagos and Nigeria with your beloved Northerners, yet whenever Igbos make such attempts it is you same hatefilled and wicked Yorubas that will be insulting Igbos and attacking them and calling Igbo land barren and yet you don't want to see the same Igbos you hate secede in peace so you Yorubas can then enjoy your Lagos paradise alone without this useless greedy Igbos. Honestly most of you Yorubas are naturally wicked and ungrateful. You claim Tinubu appointed Igbos into Lagos cabinet, what does that mean, does it add anything to Igbo people's individual success? He is only rewarding some fellow corrupt Igbos loyal to him not that he wants to help the generality of Igbos. And you want Igbos to appoint Yorubas and Northerners in Southeast states, how many Yorubas live in Southeast permanently or own estates, markets, schools, industries, firms, etc, etc in Igbo land? Or you want Igbo Governors to go to Oyo to appoint Yorubas that refused to go to Southeast to do business or establish companies and build mansions and help in developing Southeast to become Commissioners, on what basis? Listen and listen well, Igbos have no interest in taking over Lagos. All the wealth and investments and properties Igbos own in Lagos, they are ready to forfeit it once you heartless ungrateful Yorubas and Hausa-Fulanis allow Igbos to secede peacefully and go build their own country. Igbos are not afraid to start from the scratch again, but will you wicked souls allow that? NO! Now because Igbos for the first time in history of Nigeria are massively supporting an Igbo Presidential candidate to help rebuild Nigeria from ruins that Buhari and his Yoruba political allies have plunged Nigeria into, you hatefilled Yorubas are bleeding from everywhere attacking Igbos, calling them names even when Igbos voted massively for Obasanjo a Yoruba man in 1999 and Anambra people voted massively for Abiola a Yoruba man in 1993 and even after Yorubas have produced President in 1976, 1999 and VP since 2015 you still don't want Igbos to have just one slot, you Yorubas still want to take Igbos turn while Igbos again sit down and clap for you. God alone is the one that sees all these injustices and He will reward you all in your kind at the appointed time not long from now. Igbos produced the last President and Head of State of Nigeria in 1966 while Yorubas have produced President and heads of stated in 1976 to 1979, 1999 to 2007, and now VP from 2015 to end in 2023. If anybody will be honest to themselves, between Igbos and Yorubas who should be desperate to produce the next President? Who should be accusing the other of hatred and trying to take their position in Nigeria? Wicked ungrateful, envious souls!! 16 Likes 3 Shares |

ThrownBack: At Independence the Capital was less than 5% of today's lagos , Over95% of which was in Awolowo’s Western Region The dream that made lagos an Economic Powerhouse was Awolowo’s dream Awolowo was busy trying to Overtake Europe It may seem hilarious in today’s Nigeria but that is the Truth awolowo built Ikeja including its industrial estates From the Scratch out of a jungle where Elephants, leopards, and Gorillas were still roaming around, into the Capital of the western region, Ikeja Province in those days reached the Sea Coast Of Lagos awolowo was building Modern Cattle Ranches all over the western region with Cattle Imported from Isreal in 1956 !! Awolowos western region was broadcasting Terrestial Television’ before France ! awolowo had big dreams for his People, Singapore and Dubai were too small compared to what awolowo was aiming for With all humility , awolowo outperformed the British The dream that turned lagos into an Economic Powerhouse was Awolowos dream Awolowo was Jailed for that dream Jakande, Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode, Sanwo Olu continued with that dream Below is the Map Of Lagos at Independence Over 97 % of Today’s Lagos State was from the Western Region 5 Likes

Lol. Suffering families sell their land to feed and send their children to school. They children finish school and come online to attack those that helped their families. Such ungrateful children. When Buhari fulani closed your borders for 4 years tou could not talk. Na igbo wey pay tax and contribute to the IGR of the state be your problem. Go and calculate the percentage Igbo's contribute to LAGOS IGR. If you feel pained go to igboland and retaliate with investment. Buy up property and invest heavily. Then you can demand representation. |
