El Elohe Yahshrael!

Get an education.
Get a job.
Buy a car.
Build a house.
Travel abroad.
Etc.

The things highlighted above are mundane things. Simply because they are important to us here does not change the fact that they are mundanes.

Those things are the very things our people fast and pray for copiously in this country. Some could be told to embark on 21 days dry fast for a visa, which in almost all the cases does not materialize.

My questions:

1: Do people in other countries also pray and fast for such things as well? Those who have travelled out of this country should enlighten us.

2: Should a follower of Yahushua the Messiah fast and pray for such things. As a saint, servant or messenger of YHVH Almighty, of Yahushua the Messiah, what do you think?

El Elohe Yahshrael! Hallelu YAH!

In countries that actually produce anything, fasting and praying is not the preferred solution. They have learnt and now know that a seed must be put into tended soil for it to produce a bountiful crop and they have extended that knowledge to building cars and rockets and phones and electricity and water that runs from a tap and etc, thereby providing the people with the means with which to acquire, with the sweat of their own brow, the things you have highlighted above instead of praying and fasting for them to arrive from the Gods in the heavens.

Depends what you mean by "follower of Yahushua the Messiah".

If that includes the God that many read about in a book called the Bible then those who do not pray and fast for the things you highlighted above are the followers, while the prayers and fasters are following those who told them to pray and fast. "Woe unto them" might Christ say to those selling the serpents and rocks of fast and pray.

Every one "following" Jesus should know they must pick up their own crosses, which are what the things you highlighted above are, and bear them so that one can have the resource to teach one's neighbours to bear their own cross too. For it is very clearly written that "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return".

They are what some people call "destiny". Things that citizens of other nations take for granted.

Destiny is for people who are incapable of determining and plotting their own journey. The free and brave just keep on journeying.

And citizens of the nations I mentioned do not take for granted the things that they built with the sweat of their brow. That is why they have what is commonly referred to as a "maintenance culture" which ensures the things they build with the sweat of their brow last for many many centuries.
