4 Methods For Extending Your Web App To Native Platforms by ayojademi(m): 12:49pm On Aug 04, 2022
Different distribution methods enable you to reach as many users as possible. Obviously, every web application is distributed over the internet. It makes more sense, however, to distribute the app through native app marketplaces, here are 4 methods for extending your web app to native platforms.

There are many different strategies that can be used. Examine them and determine which is the quickest.

1. Literally Native Development
The simplest solution is to create a unique native app from scratch. The advantage of this is that it allows for the creation of a native user experience at the highest possible level.

Creating a native app, however, requires a large team of developers as well as an expansion of the QA and UI/UX teams. In other words, the price is simply too high.

2. React Native Development
Utilizing React Native is the second choice. Using JavaScript and React features to create native apps is a fairly common practice.

Because the React Native team can use components that the web team has already prepared, this method is much faster than developing a true native app. Additionally, the native app’s development may involve our web React developers.

However, we still need to grow the team in order to create native apps in addition to web apps. And it continues to take time and money.

3. Application WebView
A WebView application is the most rapid choice. In your React Native application, you can display web pages using a WebView, which is a browser.

The WebView can be implemented in just a few lines of code.

It is the least expensive and fastest choice. But.

The main concern is that the App Store may reject your WebView app. The app will work in TestFlight, but there may be issues when you try to publish it.

Offline mode in WebView is also difficult to use. A service worker is required to store the web app files locally. Even with a service worker, the initial launch will fail if there is no internet connection because there are no sources to display.

4. Prebuilt WebView Application
The fourth option allows us to maintain the fastest development speed while avoiding the concerns raised by the previous options. WebView is already built.
