Segun Atanda/ Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mustafa Adebayo Balogun died at the Reddington Hospital, Lekki, Lagos at about 8:30 pm today during a brief illness, family sources have confirmed to NewsmakersNG. Balogun who was Nigeria’s 11th indigenous IGP died at 74. Born on August 25, 1947, Balogun became IGP on March 6, 2002, and was retired on January 17, 2005.
