NIGERIAN NAVY SHIP PROSPERITY RESCUES TWO GHANAIAN FISHERMEN

Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) PROSPERITY while on patrol about 10 nautical miles (nm) North East of Dangote Quay on 2 August 2022, sighted a man floating at sea on a yellow 20 litres gallon. Accordingly, the ship altered course towards the position of the man and successfully recovered him.

Subsequently, the rescued man revealed that a second person was involved. As such, the ship proceeded to the position of the second man and safely recovered him as well.

Further investigations revealed that the rescued men were Ghanaian fishermen residing at Takwa Bay, Lagos. They went fishing on Sunday 31 July 2022 but encountered a boat mishap at about 10pm same day. Sadly, 2 of them were said to have drowned before the remaining two were rescued by NNS PROSPERITY. The Nigerian Navy wishes to reiterate its commitment towards ensuring the security and safety of all seafarers in Nigeria’s maritime domain.

The two survivors should be well treated and prosecuted.
Just think it was Nigerians they found in Ghanaian water. By now they would have tag them. Internet fraudsters, drug peddlers, gun runners or kuje prison escapees.

Beautiful one from the Navy.
Nigeria is a great country bedevilled by corrupt leadership and followership.
It's only strong reforms and strong institutions that will take us back on track.
Our East African brothers like Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Kenya are making significant changes.
We need to eschew our differences and unite for our prosperity as a nation.
The biggest enemies of Nigeria are the Corrupt political class and the sponsors of Conflicts.
The problem of Nigeria is not causes by the Moslems or Christians, Hausas Fulani or Igbos.
It's caused by people that are driven by their selfish interests and they are across all tribes, regions and religions.
Until about 50years imprisonment is mapped out as a punishment for convicted high profile corruption cases in the tune of billions of naira
They won't stop.

Let's try and see the big picture before rushing to be negative. The article say the Ghanaians live in Takwa Bay, Lagos.

They did not travel from Ghana to fish in Nigerian waters so not sure what they would be prosecuted for.

Perhaps it is what they actually do most of the time while it is your own ignorant perception that makes you believe they are out murdering, raping and maiming Nigerians every second of the day and every chance they get.

Give credit where and when due. Likewise criticise where and when appropriate.

I swear! The would have gone to all the media houses to paint Nigeria blacks.
Ghana is the number one hater of Nigeria and Nigeria should not pardon them when the time comes.

There are more Ghanaians in Nigeria than Nigerians in Ghana.
The thing is that Ghanaians are too lazy unlike Nigerians who are too busy to care about who is coming into their country.

It is true, they behave like Ghanaians. Ijaw people are not Nigerians and should be chased back to Ghana.
