Nigeria on Sunday at the 2022 Commonwealth Games added another gold to her medals as the quartet of Tobi Amusan, Favour Ofili, Rose Chukwuma and Grace Nwokocha won as the 4x100m Women’s relay race. They women set a new African Record of 42.10s to beat their counterpart to emerge the winner. Tobi Amusan after winning the 100m hurdles gold started the race and gave her baton to Favour Ofili who also won the silver medal in the women 200m event a day before. Ofili pushed through and handed over her baton to Rose Chukwuma who finally gave it to Grace Nwokocha who made the last dash to win the gold medal.
