Too early to praise the sport ministry, but we can encourage it to do better.. Remember most of the medals well down to individual efforts.. We need the states and most importantly the private sector to fund sporting actitivies with of course government intervention.


We will do better if we have systems in place so if Sunday Dare leaves the processes continues....

Some people are ignorant about factors that influence the medal tables.
Scotland and England are essentially the same country - UK. You can imagine what it takes them to mobilise massively for the games.
Another thing is that the host countries always schedule more variants of those sports in which they are emphatically strong into the games programme and aneighbouring country like Scotland would have benefited from such arrangement.
