Joe: Snake Eyes: This film is about the tenacious loner, ‘Snake Eyes’, who secures himself a spot in an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. He is welcomed and taught the ways of the ninja warrior. However, discrediting secrets from his past are revealed. ‘Snake Eyes’ must prove his honour and allegiance – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him. It premieres August 29.

4. Resident Alien: This series is back for a second season after a successful first run. It is about an alien who crashlands on Earth and must pass himself off as small-town human doctor, Harry Vanderspeigle. Even though he has a secret mission to kill all humans, Harry starts living a simple life. However, his plan becomes less viable when he’s roped into solving a local murder and realizes he must assimilate into his new world.
