Benbellamor: Don't be stupid. The Governor knows their identity and they are all Ebira Ebira people have been settlers in Ondo and the SW for a long time working as field hands in Cocoa plantations. They are mostly engaged in the agriculture sector as farm hands . The governor does not want his people to begin victimizing the hardworking long settlers who are now in their 4th generation. Go to Delta and Edo and you will see a lot of Ebira settlers who came to work in Rubber , palm and timber plantations. The governor sent a subtle warning to the Ebira community only yesterday stating that there was evidence that Ebiras were colluding with Fulani terrorists to kidnap people in his state. He did not mention the Ebira makeup of the Owo massacre because he did not want to see the Ebira attacked by the Yoruba people. 1 Like |

Yoruba will not share in that; it's not in their blood, you want them to have terrorists like you have IPOB terrorists in your region. Carry your cross 1 Like |

politicoNG:Why is the military trying its best not to make it look that the perpetrators are of the fulani extraction? We were made to believe the first set of 5 arrested were Ebiras- i knew something was fishy.. 5 days later after masking the ethnic identities of the perpetrators...the real ones are being announced.. Realists:Europe has evolved. They have discarded religion from governance. They have come to realize that religion is a PRIVATE personal matter Whilst many Northern Muslims and their allies are still seized up in Jihadi ideas, Sharia, beheading, bombing and intolerance of others Tell us how many churches are in Saudi Arabia Tell us image Islam has beyond beheading, bombing and lynching Did you and other Muslims not support murder in the name of blasphemy? DaveDGreat Is any civilized nation talking of blasphemy in 2022 |

Toneypen247: Why should they be killed? Is it only repentant Fulani terrorists that should be pardoned, rehabilitated and integrated into the Armed Forces? What is good for Fulani terrorists is also good for Ebira terrorists. |

Who else has noticed galvanized action particularly concerning security after the impeachment threat. Then some ignoramuses will sit somewhere saying a 'co-operative' Legislature is the key to development totally ignoring the fact that authoritarianism has brought this country to it's knees. You can imagine what the naira will have been and what inflation will have been like if someone had simply said no, no, no to all those sick loans and criminal borrowings that has gutted the treasury of this country and converted the naira to tissue. Nigerians better wake up and put an end to feudalism and vow never again to vote in maxim leaders masquerading as strong men because when they eventually cough it will quickly become a pandemic. |

He did not mention the Ebira makeup of the Owo massacre because he did not want to see the Ebira attacked by the Yoruba people. Let us set the records straight. The Ebiras in various states of South West and Edo state are independent farmers growing yams, cassava, maize, tomatoes, pepper and producing garri all of them in huge quantities. They contribute immensely to the economies of the host states and the nation at large. They are law abiding and cohabit with the indigenes. Governor Akeredolu, in his wisdom, said there have been terrorist cells in Okene spilling over to Ondo state. The security personnel need to investigate and root out the evil ravaging Nigeria as a whole. Please, do not vilify a whole tribe and twisting the historical origin of a people. The excellency told you that even the Ebiras have been victims of terrorist attacks. Ebiras DID NOT originate from Chad and they were neither conquered by Dan Fodio nor joined the Jihadists. Ebiras voluntarily accepts to be Muslims and Christians. |

Realists: I find it strange that after all your rigorous effort @ research and diggings all you could come up with is "xtain europe" what a tag, Did you not notice both instances happened before the world was civilized and long born you were born, that is not coincidence Well the goodnews is "xtain europe" as at today are the ones protecting the world from "islam terror", did you see the way afghan citizens(muslims) were holding on to america planes when US soldiers pulled out, a taliban govt is an islamic govt designed for muslims, so why run ? Xtains profound UN, that body has saved more & still saving lives across the globe regardless of religious affiliation, what does muslims have aside al-Qaeda, iswap & sleeper cells The dumbest question to ask any terrorist across the world is, whats your religion ?? Tbh muslims need to start sensitizing themselves, killings to get 7virgins in paradise dumbest shit ever |
