New courses have been added and modified, especially courses on Algorithm Design, System Design, Probability and Statistics, Computation Structures, Discrete Mathematics etc.

A WhatsApp group and Slack channel will be created for Nigerian students partaking in OCW Fall 2022. The purpose of the group is to connect like minded together, official course roadmap will be shared as well.

First deciding your major is very important. This link shows all the majors in MIT EECS Department (https://www.eecs.mit.edu/academics/undergraduate-programs/curriculum/). You are at liberty to choose where you want to major, a strong maths background in algebra is required.
Starting Fall 2022 most major requires 16 different courses as you can see from the aforementioned link. It is recommended to preview/download the 2017 course roadmap, from the course roadmap, you will see that you must have taken courses on Programming and or Mathematics. Once again you are at liberty to take courses in different structures depending on your capabilities. Most course have prerequisite course, you must have finished through with a prerequisite course before starting an aligned or main course[b/]
Please note that to truly benefit, you must take two courses from AUS(Advanced Undergraduate Studies) category and one course from II (independent Inquiry).

Recommended Weekly Study Duration : 20 hours.
Recommended Daily Study Duration : 3 hours

Note: 6.031 is same as 6.005, 6.805 has been replaced with SERC (https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/res-tll-008-social-and-ethical-responsibilities-of-computing-serc-fall-2021/) 6.009 is no longer available on OCW. This will be regularly modified to show course code name change.
