@OP,

Smart in terms of what and what? Whats your criteria?

You should've been more specific about which section.

In this politics section were I mostly post, there're a lot of smart posters here. I could list them here but wouldn't, for some obvious reasons.

I don't know when you joined NL but some articulate posters no longer post frequently these days unlike in their heydays.

The ones who still frequently post and which you may agree with their pattern and articulacy of posts, are the ones you're most likely to remember - that's the way the mind works!

I'll give the award to no one else but my able admin Seun.

I've carfeully observed his posts and notice that he's the quite type. He doesn't talk more than two sentences but whatever he says is well loaded. He goes straight to the point and hits the nail on the head whenever he makes a post.

So I feel he's the smartest.

I agree that it takes a sharp wit and keen intellect to deliver a message in as few words as possible.  One poster exhibits that talent again and again.

I can't say enough about our wonderful MR CORK, but I'll restrain myself, less he thinks I have an interest in a NLDer obsessed with nyansh and light-skin girls.  grin
