Despite repeated denials, details have emerged that former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is behind the recruitment of fake priests to act as bishops during the unveiling of former Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, in Abuja, as the Vice Presidential candidate of the APC in the 2023 election.

It was gathered that a former Vice Chairman of Ovia North East Local Government Area, Okada, Edo State, Hon. Maureen Osaro Ekhoragbon (JP), appeared in the video with Youth Leader of the APC in Edo State, Tony Adun popularly known as Kabaka.

In the video, Kabaka attempted to remix the viral Emilokan song on the Presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with Ekhoragbon standing beside him and singing soulfully about how they intend to support Tinubu despite his failings.

A comparison of the video with the clips from the parade of bishops at the Musa Yar’adua Centre in Abuja showed that Ekhoragbon was captured with a priest’s regalia, holding a staff and looking forlorn when she and her colleagues proceeded to the event centre.

A source who is familiar with Tinubu’s overtures to APC members in Edo State said: “I can confirm to you that Edo APC through Oshiomhole are finding it difficult to show up for the huge sums they are collecting from Tinubu’s camp. They are famous for deceiving Tinubu to collect funds from him. The outcome of the Edo 2020 election is very much fresh in our minds.

“Now, Oshiomhole, who organized for the fake bishops in Abuja, has contracted Kabaka and some ragtag elements to do a response to the song by a famous group. In that video, you will see Ekhoragbon singing with all her might to their composition. That is what he is using the slush fund from Tinubu to do.

“Her presence in the video confirms that Oshiomhole played a big role in mobilizing the fake bishops in Abuja. It is so clear. Edo people should expect to see more drama from Oshiomhole and his lackeys in the coming days.”
