Final whistle!! Nigeria 2, Saudi 0. Congrats Naija. Though I must admit that the Saudi team played better. it was a bit disappointing except for the fact that we won. |

Coach John Obuh is a noise maker. What criteria did he use in taking Nwofor to the competition? Abi the guy promised him of remitting 70% of his pay? Even though Okoro is a selfish player, he could have been more useful than so called Nwofor |

These boys will go places. They are too good. I hope the Super Eagles are watching. The goal keeper is trying to show off and will make mistakes if he is not properly warned. I know they are trying to impress scouts, but they should remain focused. Good Job Coach Obuh |

Naija and their critics sef, because a player no do well in a particular match una go condemn he 2 a waste. Abeg make una take am easy on Nwofor cos everyday no be xmas. If not for anything d previous match he came in as a sub and scored 2 goals, this game also he assisted Kayode wf a pass 4 d 2nd goal. |

davd: I disagree with you seriously and I think you're the noise maker here.Stanley who Nigga please Iya Basira that runs her buka off Maiyegun in Obalende will fare better than Stanley Okoro today as far as football is concerned.Stanley is a piece of trash that reduces our players 10 men whenever he's on the field cos he's so useless now on that right flank, play him on the left,he'd be running like those tomato girls in Hausa quarters in Warri,as if he just delivered a baby, once he loses the ball,he won't try to recover it from his opponents,he cannot trot back to help in defence to save his own soul.I was so pissed anytime Coach Obuh brought him in as a sub last year in SA. Even if Nwofor appeared sluggish in the game early this morning,he wasnt the only one,Ahmed Musa for over 40 minutes in the game could not make a successful pass, couldn't dribble past two players successively,in fact that his goal just wiped off his sins (he knew this hence he ran straight to the coach once he scored as if to say "thanks coachito for not subbing me),again there's a reason Nwofor was the highest goal scorer in that SA tournament. Going back to the game against Croatia,Okoro would never have been able to score any of the goals scored by Nwofor, for our fourth goal which Nwofor scored with his right foot,an Okoro would have attempted to bring it back to his left foot before attempting to shoot,by which time he would have lost the ball. For Nwofor's second and our fifth goal in that game, who born short man Stanley Okoro to make that kind of a jump that Nwofor made to score with that powerful header. Finally, the entire team was not fantastic yesterday but they were effective, getting the job done,an in being effective,Nwofor was okay,I liked how he held that wing beofre Kayode was brougt in,mark you that is not his natural position,I also liked how he helped out in defence and finally, helllooo Nwofor actually made the second goal so what are you talking about. Please do me a favour and dont desecrate this thread by mentioning Stanley Okoro's name in good light here abeg |
