….Calls On Nigerians Not To Waste Their Votes For APC

…Says Ruling Party Has Failed Woefully

ABUJA – Former Minister of Information and leader of Nyesom Wike reconciliation camp, Professor Jerry Gana, has warned that if the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not resolved, Governor Nyesom Wike, himself and others will move out.

Speaking while commissioning a project in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Gana called on Nigerians not to waste their votes for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), because they have failed Nigerians woefully.

“We want to assure you that the problems with the PDP, we shall resolve them and if it doesn’t resolve, this leader, the governor here, together with all of us, we shall tell the people of Nigeria where to go. They are not baby.

“Don’t make the mistake of wasting your vote to go to the other side. You know who I mean. They have failed woefully, embarrassingly failed, therefore don’t even go there,” he said.

Noting that the Nigeria’s military forces are more than enough to defeat the bandits terrorising the nation, the former Minister appealed to Mr. President and other leaders that the nation cannot continue to lose its security operatives.

He said: “Nigeria’s military forces are more than enough to defeat these bandits, they are more than enough to be able to do it, but they need the kind of qualitative leadership that will give the kind of order, that will provide the resources that will provide the kind of equipment they needed to deliver.”

Eulogizing governor Wike for what he has done, Prof. Gana said, “look at what this governor has done. You know what was happening in this state. The governor gave good and focused leadership and now you are in peace. We want to transfer this peace to the rest of Nigeria.

“It is possible and it must be done and therefore I like to assure the good people of Rivers State and Nigerians that they should continue to ensure they give that opportunity to the Peoples Democratic Party so that we can be at the center and give a government that care for the people because the security and welfare of the people is the primary purpose of government.

“If you cannot secure the people, you cannot provide peace and stability, then you are not a good government because governance is about people’s security, people’s welfare, people’s future, people’s everything that is really important to them.”

Lamenting the economy situation in the country, Gana said, “let me also appeal that the national economy of Nigeria is about to collapse. Unless something is really done very seriously, the Nigerian national economy is about to crumble. Inflation is at a very high level, prices rising every day, the common man is suffering. And the economy is not doing well at all and therefore we appeal to the managers of this economy.”

Appealing to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a credible election in 2023, Prof. Gana said, “for the forthcoming elections, let me use this platform to appeal to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do better.

“We admire the new technology being deployed for elections. You should not allow any force, political, economic or otherwise to dissuade you from doing the right thing. Let the people of Nigeria have free, fair, peaceful and credible elections. Let the people elect their leaders.”

Wike was a mere local government chairman when this prof was a federal minister in the same government where Atiku was a VP

I still don’t understand the mystery behind his stooping so low to be queuing behind a junior Wike.

I expect a high caliber man like Prof. Hana to be an elder statesman at his age.

The crisis can't be resolved, it's a permanent crisis because Atiku is a greedy politician. Atiku wants a VP he can control that's why he opted for Okowa instead of Wike because he knows Wike is a lion.

You all should just move out and come to LP so that the tsunami that will hit the electoral space in 2023 will have maximum force.

PO/DATTI2023 IS INEVITABLE

Urchins know that already, we all know that they are not campaigning with the interest of the country at heart, it's the tribalism or poverty in them that is beclouding their sense of judgement and pray they get sense and stop their senseless campaign.

In Nigeria today if u say vote wisely APC will start crying and complaining that you are Obidient

If you say let's vote out these corrupt politicians PDP will start insulting you saying you are Obidient.

This is clearly light fighting against darkness

Reading this story, a discerning mind will realize that he's trying to say if they break away from PDP they'll probably join the Obidient Bandwagon

I don't care where they move to. What's more important is, any winner that will bring in family and friends (and not "square peg in square holes") to run the government does not mean well for Nigeria. The people should take this country, it belongs to them.

The title of this thread is inconsistent with the content. Ebi like the MOD use sleepy eyes push am to front page cool.

Of the top 3 contenders,Labour Party appears to be the only party free of controversy. The APC is still attempting to justify their same faith ticket, while the PDP has yet to find a way to unite the belligerents within their ranks, even with their so-called Mr "unifier". What a paradox: in actuality, the "unifier" is the primary cause of the division.

I just dey laugh as dem dey make O'mockery of themselves. Pun intended grin.

You're welcome to Labour Party Prof. smiley

You have just re-emphasized that Labour Party is PDP's dust bin.

You guys are so desperate for structure and power, despite claiming you do not need structure.

You claim to be different but you are only different in party name and not in the type of political prostitutes and ticket hunters you harbour, led by the desperate easy ticket hunter called Peter Obi.

Infact, you are so desperate that you would gladly welcome Buhari as a member because he is the President.

You want to change and revolutionise Nigeria, yet you have become the dumping ground of all failed politicians, while courting the support of all those whose actions you intend to correct.

Only zombies would not identify the confusing oxymoron.

The SDP you reference is the SDP that stopped existing with the terminated 3rd Republic.

The SDP that exist now is a newly registered party.

In this 4th Republic, Tinubu has been a foundation member of AD, his faction formed AC/ACN, and his ACN aligned with other opposition parties to form the mega APC.

We see the organic growth and effort put in, as opposed to political prostitution and ticket hunting by the likes of Atiku and Obi.

But Wike, where will he go at this late hour with all the candidates in Rivers that depend on him?
