Russia Drowning In Ukraine? by Awesometouch1: 3:50am On Aug 20, 2022
Many simply cannot comprehend Russia is this bad at its best, as it struggles in Ukraine, that they have chosen to rather believe Russia is not even using modern weapons and that’s why it’s failing to achieve its goals. Others are led to believe in imaginary 3 million soldiers Putin can deploy.

First, Russia can’t because Russia does not have 3 million soldiers in reality as some imagine and as Russian propaganda has made many to believe. Russia is almost maxed out with its current military capacity, save a general mobilization, and is engaging in intensive recruitment drives in diverse ways.

Putin is afraid of calling a general mobilization and forcing drafts as this will quickly turn thousands of passive supporters of the war into active anti-Putin opposition, with much possibility for an uprising or something as bad as the anti-Yeltsin era riots. The Kremlin fears it doesn’t have all the depth of support for such forced draftings and wary of fomenting discontent, especially as the war in Ukraine is not going according to plans.

To aid greater number of recruitment, Putin abolished the age limit for military service. Now even people over 40 can enlist. Does that level of desperation sound to you like someone’s who’s got a million more men at the ready to deploy? That’s not all.

The Kremlin is even offering as much as 3000-5000 USD monthly to get people to sign up; that’s over 5 times the average salary for a Russian soldier. There are also muted workplace summons and Russian prisons joining the recruitment drive.

You think Putin has 3 million men to send to Ukraine and is bending this far with all these efforts to raise new recruits?

Despite these facts showing a struggle to bulk numbers quickly, some keep talking about non-existent 1-3 million ready soldiers Putin can send to Ukraine, much like theories of “advanced modern weapons” some people expect will show up soon.

While Russia has reportedly built up several thousand conscripts to improve its flailing situation in Ukraine, its obvious enough that Russians, numbering over 140 million, are not rushing in droves to sign up to die in Ukraine.

Importantly, do not forget this war started since February 24 and Russia does not have the tanks, planes or gunships to effectively support a general mobilization force of millions; Russia has lost thousands of heavy weapons it cannot replenish,

unlike Ukraine that’s getting better with military aid- perhaps not as fast nor as heavy as they deserve, but absolutely reliable military aid.

For Russia, merely handing out rifles to ill-trained conscripts will only increase its casualties more rather than improve its position. The depleted Russian military is becoming ever more a shadow force as most of its best soldiers have been killed in Ukraine or injured and out of service.

The more conscripts with less training and less heavy weapons than they started the war with, the less effective Russia is. Russia today is weaker than it was on February 24, with all the losses suffered in Ukraine- no amount of boisterous talk will change that.

And this might be hard for some to believe, but Russia has no hidden modern weapons it hasn’t deployed- Russia is using every and all its got, including its hypersonic missiles and its 3 demo Su-57s.

Even Kim Jong-Un, Putin’s ally, knows Russia is in dire straits and is offering to help. Whatever country you are from, if you’re at war and North Korea is offering to help, it’s obvious you’re in a bad place.

North Korea’s reported offer of Kim Jong-un’s 100,000 malnourished, undertrained and unmotivated canon fodders will not change the outcome for Russia either.

Predictably, thousands of them North Koreans might be escaping to join the Ukrainian side once they arrive in Ukraine. Several thousands more will be taking the opportunity to flee as far away from Russia and North Korea as they can get. The rest that chose to fight will be the unfortunates; maybe the gangster-strutting Rocket Man, Kim Jong-Un, will learn something about how backward and ill-equipped his forces truly are.

Again, if Russia is considering help from North Korea, doesn’t that tell you how bad things really are?

And, no, Russian military’s scorched earth policy will not change the results- Putin has been doing much of that since Feb 24.

The only thing Putin will achieve with all his squirming efforts is convince the West why Ukraine truly need more HIMARS/M270s; ATACMS to destroy Russian assets 200-300km behind the frontlines; better air defenses; greater training; more heavy ammunition to deal with a larger but yet weaker Russian force numbers, and perhaps some Western fighter jets.

Interestingly, things continue happening that will make a long drawn out war very painful for Putin.

Ukraine’s allies are planning into the future to ensure Ukraine is supported, sustained consistently and better. Even uncertain fellows like Macron have in recent repeatedly renewed vows to stand with Ukraine and stop Putin.

The UK started training Ukrainian forces couple of months ago. Today, that arrangement has dramatically increased with several Western ally nations beginning training overseas for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU)- Denmark, Canada, Sweden, Finland- with some sending contingents to the UK to increase the training capacity, speed and numbers of those who are being trained. The US has also stepped up its training programs for Ukrainian officers, in several locations overseas and in the US.

Whatever Putin can think of now, Russia has failed. Putin failed since the very first week of the war.

Putin will not have Ukraine. Russia Can and Will be Defeated in Ukraine.

Continue the propaganda regurgitation.

While at it, no forget to help them dey pile up firewood for the coming winter.

That's the next phase of the war..

The Europeans should be the ones to brace up against am uprising from their citizens.
