Koffi Atta, a 47-years-old farmer, has been reportedly hospitalised after accidentally cutting off his testicles while sleeping.

According to him, he dozed off in a chair and picked up a knife while sleeping, dreaming of cutting a meat, only to wake up in pains and discover he had cut off his testicles.

While he shouted and called out to neighbors for help, he was immediately rushed to the St Francis Xavier hospital in Assin Fosu.

"I was sitting in my chair when I dozed off. In my sleep, I dreamt that I was cutting some meat in front of me.

"I don't remember how i picked up the knife. Even I am confused," he said while speaking with BBC Pidgin.
