As a contract staff of a bank in Nigeria you have no growth.

You better tell them...As a contract staff no promotion, you remain in your position till the day they are tired of you.

Should I Drop First Bank Contract Staff For Orange Group?
3 questions for better understanding
1. Is the orange group job a contract job.
2. Which one has more pay.
3. Which is more secured

This question is only you that can answer it better. Apply for leave from firstbank and work briefly in Orange groups to be able to compare. Is the Orange group job a permanent employment? Is the remuneration better? What is career growth like there? If you remain at Firstbank, is there any chance you could be staffed? Is the remuneration today better? What is your career plan like and which of the two jobs fits better? What is the market growth potential of both jobs? When u answer these questions convincingly, you would easily choose. Good luck.
orange group will request his letter of resignation from his former employment, else he will working in 2 places at the same time

Take the FirstBank Job if you are below 35, have a BSC, maybe an HND too (I don't know if they still hold that dichotomy between both degrees) and with good grades. You have a leverage and huge chance of being staffed years into your job. I think they do periodical conversion exams for contractual staff. Take your studies seriously and make sure you ace the exams if you are lucky to be selected. On your way to being a core staff if fortune smiles at you.

I don't know anything about the latter. Good luck.

It's better to work for World Bank than hawk orange for Group of orange sellers. You best apply for another jamb and study Medicine.

People telling you to leave FBN, know nothing about Orange Group, the makers of Delta soap.

But you can try it and see.

There are full-time roles that are worse than banking contract jobs. Many Nigerians are in one, but their mouth is the sharpest when any topic on banks comes up.

Go to Google and search Orange Group + Nairaland. Enjoy yourself.

Hope you are aware that First bank will drop you after 7 years with nothing to show for those years. So take your decision wisely.

That's a lie. Not in all cases. How about those converted to core staff?
