On our timeline this evening is a controversial video that many Nigerians have a lot to comment on.

In Africa, divorce is socially frowned upon by society and the family system. This makes people who are incompatible stay together, even at the cost of their lives.

Should divorce be encouraged in our society? Is there anything wrong with being divorced from an abusive relationship or from someone who is maltreating you?

Why is the culture still held high even in this 22 century?

There is no amount of Grammar or skill of explanation to dilute or adulterate GOD'S word and Principle.
The Bible is clear on God's principles for marriage .
JESUS Christ teaching on marriage is clear for anyone who desires to follow Him.

Matthew 19:9
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mark 10:11-12
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Luke 16:18
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

1Corithians 7:10-11
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Don't let anyone confuse you. Only Death permits a man or woman to re-marry .
